MAILING LIST Click here to Subscribe or Manage your subscription. We have added a mailing list to our State website. This way as members from across Kentucky visit our site they can "subscribe" to our list and when anyone has something that needs to be shared with everyone across Kentucky a member of the list can send one message to "kyamvets (at) amvetsofky.org" and everyone who has subscribed to the list will get a copy of the eMail. When you ask to SUBSCRIBE you will receive an eMail from the server and you have to CONFIRM that you SUBSCRIBED so someone can't SUBSCRIBE you without your permission. This is a "private" list and only the Administrator can see all the eMail addresses that belong to the list. This way you don't have to worry that your eMail address will be given to anyone by sending a message to the List. (The FROM field will say the message is FROM the list and not the person who sent it. However, you will probably want to include your name at the bottom of your message so they will know who said what. And if you add your eMail address as TEXT in the body of the message everyone on the list WILL see it.) Right now this is a "MODERATED" list. This means that any message sent to the LIST will have to be reviewed by the Administrator who can REJECT, SEND, or just DELETE the message. This should stop anybody from sending junk to our LIST members. Once you SUBSCRIBE, you will receive a "WELCOME" message with further instructions on how to SEND and MODIFY your options or UNSUBSCRIBE. You will be given a chance to assign a password to your member record so you know only you (or the Administrator) can change your address/name/options. Be aware this is an excellent way for any Post to announce a special event. It will go to everyone subscribed including the webmaster of the State site so I can added it to the "EVENTS" calendar. This way someone who does not check the website very often will still get notified about an upcoming event. If they choose not to subscribe, they can still find out about the event by checking our "EVENTS" list.
